OUR PARTNERS

At In My Shoes we have and are continuing to develop strong partnerships with in-country local NGOs in Southern Africa as well as corporate partnerships in Europe. We understand the importance of collaboration at both grass root and international levels to provide effective and impactful support towards the achievement of our goals.

UPS Ireland
Leading the industry and connecting the world,UPS is one of the world's largest global shipping couriers and logistics service. UPS is guided by leaders who constantly inspire us. We believe everyone has the power to make an impact and by serving others, you serve the collective good, moving everyone forward.
The support of UPS Ireland has been a key factor of the success of the In My Shoe initiative to date.
Access to their collection depots and ParcelMotel locker networks nationwide facilitated the expansion of the last In My Shoes campaign across Ireland, resulting in the donation of over 12,000 pairs of sports shoes.
UPS shipped sustainable pre-loved shoes to Cape Town in July 2022 where they were distributed to the kids most-in-need in townships throughout South Africa and Lesotho.

Wavecrest Networks
Wavecrest Networks are a technology company creating products and services that keep the world connected. They are committed to 'running their business responsibly' and strive to 'maintain the highest ethical principles and to respect human rights'.
For Wavecrest Networks it seemed symbiotic to partner with In My Shoes because much of their corporate strategy and goals are focused on Africa as a region. For many years, they have been using technology to connect customers to friends and family throughout Africa, and by working with In My Shoes they see a meaningful opportunity to help give back to those communities that support them.
“All business should consider their corporate responsibilities; we are thinking about what we can do to benefit the world we share, and how our organisation and employees can take positive action to help those who are most in need.”
Wavecrest and their employees all understand the importance of being aware of the impact they can have on whole communities; their own, the customers they serve, and the communities they support. By getting involved with In My Shoes, and empowering their employees to engage at an individual level, the Board of Wavecrest look forward to working further with In My Shoes as they widen their charitable work from Ireland to the UK and elsewhere. This support will be fully integrated into Wavecrest’s own ESG strategy.
“We were humbled by the work In My Shoes do and could see the immediate positive impact; assisting these communities that contribute to our business makes a lot of sense for us.”
Wavecrest believe that providing shoes to kids, and the positive and far-reaching follow-on effects that this has, is something that we take for granted in Europe - we recognise that elsewhere in the world it’s a basic need that is often not met, and by partnering with In My Shoes we are supporting a sustainable solution to meet community needs at a grass root level.

CATCH TRUST
The CATCH Trust is dedicated to creating sporting ecosystems in South African township communities through a three-pronged model of building infrastructure and facilities, training community coaches and developing sport and lifeskill programmes to help children in these communities to flourish on and off the sports field.
Their funding only stretches so far and they certainly can’t afford to buy equipment and sport shoes for the hundreds of kids in their programmes. The parents do their best, but when it is sometimes a choice between putting food on the table or new shoes, there is only one winner.
To have a partner like In My Shoes is invaluable for us, and we look forward to growing our partnership with them to not only work to put shoes on the hundreds of feet in our programme, but tens of thousands more across the country with other brilliant sports charities that do incredible work in the countless communities that need it most.
The In My Shoes Team have grown something incredible, and for us to have a link to UK & Irish schools and to show the kids over there the good they are doing to help children less fortunate than them is a truly special project that we are very happy to be a part of.

FNT Compro
FNT Compro are a telecommunications company based in the UK offering products globally. They have been promoting reusable digital products for many years. These products are available from local sources to ensure they are easily accessible to all walks of life.
FNT Compro are no strangers to giving their time to charitable causes and giving back to communities is one of their core social values. They actively encourage their employees to take volunteer time out of their schedules and support good causes. In My Shoes have benefitted from the partnership of FNT Compro and their willingness to ‘get stuck in’, with volunteers from FNT Compro physically helping with the packing and sorting of pre-loved shoes in our first campaign.
“We were naturally drawn to In My Shoes and the idea of helping in places we personally know and have seen suffering made getting involved a must.”
With many within FNT Compro having African roots they have seen first-hand the poverty suffered within townships and local communities which made a partnership with In My Shoes a very natural and cohesive fit. While volunteering FNT Compro were able to observe the quality check process and could be confident that the shoes reaching communities close to their hearts would be worn proudly by the children receiving them.
“We were touched by the impact; that something considered as normality here could address so many factors of social immobility… all from an act of kindness.”
Believing that In My Shoes has the ability to make a real positive and consistent contribution to children’s lives, FNT Compro’s Board of Directors have committed themselves to helping In My Shoes achieve their goals which include the UN’s sustainability development goals which aim towards peace and prosperity; together and in small steps we can all help to make the world a better place.
